If you’re an iPhone 4 owner thinking about upgrading, you have a tougher choice to make. Thanks to the two-year contract imposed by AT&T and Verizon, you’re not yet eligible to pay the $200 upgrade fee for a new phone, so you’d have to spend over $600 just to get the 4S.

IMHO, THIS is what matters the most for a lot of people, Not how really amazing Siri is. Although, there is absolutely no doubt on how truly amazing Siri is :-)

… It’s aimed at the other three categories of iPhone 4S buyers:

  • Pre-iPhone 4 iPhone users (~70 million of them)
  • Non-smartphone users (1+ billion, who can now get a 3GS for free, if price is an issue)
  • Non-iPhone smartphone users (Blackberry, Android, Nokia)

Meaningful. Atleast for me!
